Creative schools…an oxymoron?

Ever watched a TED talk? If not I urge you to Google this today and allow your mind to be opened.

I was first introduced to TED talks this summer. I knew that Ted x conventions existed, but never thought to look for video footage. Anyway, I ran into Sir Ken Robinson and one of the most watched TED talks ever….and once I listened to it I understood why. Take a moment and listen to Sir Ken deliver the most frank account of what is wrong with our education system here in America and how it is detrimental to our youth. Unlike many pessimists and skepticals, Sir Ken does not leave you feeling hopeless about the state of education, at least that was not my take. This brilliant educator’s perspective ignited a flame that re-lit my passion for education. Not this stuff the public school system is selling today, but real, impactful, life changing education. Listen and be inspired.
